Masticate

While chatting with my coworkers yesterday afternoon, I cracked up hysterically when one of them used the word 'masticate'.

Yes, my mind was in the gutter, but that's not the point.

The point is, I haven't heard myself laugh out like that for a couple of weeks, and especially not since this past Thursday when That Thing arrived.

I'm quite relieved to see some signs of recovery slowly poking its cute lil' head out from beneath my gloomy moods.

Nevertheless, I still think 'masticate' is a very funny word.
