California - where discrimination is legal!

Tuesday, May. 26, 2009 @ 12:33 p.m.

Today, the California Supreme Court decided to uphold Prop 8, which was a constitutional amendment to outlaw same-sex marriage. In the meantime, the 18,000 gay couples who got wed between June and November when it was legal will remain married.

EXCELLENT decision, supreme court!! Now, on top of blatant discrimination and bigotry and a TOTAL interference between church and state, you have now added apartheid into the mix - there are now some gay couples who are wed, and the rest of us who will never be able to. You've pushed the boundaries of equality even further back. AWESOME.

I think that if proponents of gay marriage are to prevail, we should form ourselves into an organized religion. Since... y'know, nobody has the right to judge and discriminate against their fellow man and dictate how everyone should live, *unless* it's based on religious beliefs (oooh, untouchable!). AND, they get molesting altar boys as an added perk!

SEETHING MAD.
