Can you speak Engrish?

I just spent an hour on Engrish.com, and my stomach is cramping up from laughing so much. I haven't seen anything so hilarious in quite a while now! It's a site dedicated to horrendously translated signs in Japan... and well, you've just gotta see for yourself.

There lots more where they came from! And there's even a section where they teach you how to make your own Engrish! You basically use a translator to translate a sentence from English to Japanese, and then back to English again. The results are hilarious!

That is something which because of difference of structure between two languages has become so in the basis. Word being changed with grammatical difference, when it can, the ridiculous statement where simultaneously, exactly it is irrational the way this you obtain! It is longer and the statement, it is better it makes more complicated! This is the pleasure!

(What I actually typed before the translations: "It's basically due to the difference in structure between the two languages. As words get switched around with grammar differences, you get ridiculous sentences like this that are just preposterous! The longer and more complicated the sentence, the better! This is fun!")

If laughter is the best medicine, then the owner of this website defintitely deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.
